This story worked so well for this length! Super cute!
Kelly Davis,
A third act breakup in a short novella is a new one for me。 Didn’t think that could be possible within 70 pages but here we are
Quinn Fforde,
I enjoyed this sweet story。 The characters were great。 The narrator did a great job with the accents。
Maria,
Roman Holiday is one of my favorite movies so anything that resembles it is going to have some stiff competition。 Unfortunately, while the story was similar, this paled in comparison。 I liked the characters enough but the twist with the identities (and his reaction) fell short for me。 I had high hopes for this one but this was not my favorite。I received a copy from #NetGalley for an honest review。

Trying to do too much and still somehow very boring。
Emily F - Seriously Sweet Reads,
Sweet and quick! This was a sweet, quick read。 The twists and turns were fun。 I loved getting to hear about Monterra again。 This was a sweet, closed-door read。 I'd rate it PG for kissing。 Sweet and quick! This was a sweet, quick read。 The twists and turns were fun。 I loved getting to hear about Monterra again。 This was a sweet, closed-door read。 I'd rate it PG for kissing。 。。。more

Just what I neededI always enjoy Sarah Wilson's humor and chose this short book on purpose。 We all have a season of sadness and I am going through one now。 Sarah again lifted my spirits as she expertly and magically helped me escape "the blahs"。 Just what I neededI always enjoy Sarah Wilson's humor and chose this short book on purpose。 We all have a season of sadness and I am going through one now。 Sarah again lifted my spirits as she expertly and magically helped me escape "the blahs"。 。。。more

⭐️So, here we are, the last one from ‘the improbable meet-cute’ collection。 I gave high rate to the other ones, but with this one。。i really didn't like it。 Between all the other 5 this is the one with the most absurd meet-cute。 Beside the dangerous aspect of her falling asleep on the street, it’s a little no-sense。 Their instant love has no chemistry, and i don’t understand him。 I mean literally, i’m not an english native, so when i read ‘You dinnae ken what you’re agreeing to’ or ‘you didnae’ o ⭐️So, here we are, the last one from ‘the improbable meet-cute’ collection。 I gave high rate to the other ones, but with this one。。i really didn't like it。 Between all the other 5 this is the one with the most absurd meet-cute。 Beside the dangerous aspect of her falling asleep on the street, it’s a little no-sense。 Their instant love has no chemistry, and i don’t understand him。 I mean literally, i’m not an english native, so when i read ‘You dinnae ken what you’re agreeing to’ or ‘you didnae’ or ‘my mam tore into me and called me a doaty walloper’, i thought it was an error (my bad, i checked)。 I know it’s scottish, and the main character is scottish, but i don’t know。。 it wasn’t a fluent reading for me。And what about when they kiss and the people were cheering。 CRINGE! 。。。more

What to expect: secret royal, insta lustThis one was cute and had great accents in the audiobook! The story was fine, but I didn't love the meet-cute。 Them spending time together was much better and I wished they had gotten a better meeting。 Then ending was also a little twisty, which made me laugh (in a good way)This one had nods to the previous book characters and I almost said "finally!!!" cause I thought there would have been more of that, so I was glad it was in hereSpice: kissing What to expect: secret royal, insta lustThis one was cute and had great accents in the audiobook! Dharshani,
The accent did not work while reading。 This is the longest book of the entire series and was the hardest for me to get into。

ali,
confused as to how there could be a third act break up in a lil novella but oh well。 not my fav。 it gave disney version of the princess switch and not really in a good way
Mel,
Okay, I know that this is a short story; and short stories have got to be extremely hard to write。 I also know that the hidden royalty trope is not my favorite。 Knowing these things, this book was still reaaaally cute! 🥰 BUT, if you find a girl, passed out ANYWHERE, please call the medics and don’t just take her home。 🤣

Sarah M,
I liked the premise but the accent writing was enough to ruin it for me。 That was just a no for me。

Sadly not my favorite。 Even for a short story, the ending felt rushed。 I love the plot and really wish that it had been written as a full length story。

Read on my kindle。 So。 Many。 Typos。 They were simple enough, but annoying to decipher。 ATLEAST a typo every other paragraph。

I read all 6 Improbable Meet-Cute novellas in one day。 Phew。 This one was just okay。。 admittedly this was my first Royal anything trope and I don't think it's for me。 I doubt I will go out of my way to find similar books。 The writing was okay and I started off reading this and quickly realized I needed to listen so I could get a better understanding of the characters and their accents。 It helped immensely! Thank you NetGalley and Amazon Originals for the ARC of this collection。 I absolutely adored each and every one of the stories in this collection。 Yes, some more than others。 But they were all perfect, heart-warming, meet-cute stories。 All centered around Valentine's Day。 Thank you NetGalley and Amazon Originals for the ARC of this collection。 I absolutely adored each and every one of the stories in this collection。 Yes, some more than others。 But they were all perfect, heart-warming, meet-cute stories。 All centered around Valentine's Day。 。。。more

super short storyCute, and very short。 I haven’t read the related series。 I’m not a huge fan of royals and obscure countries tropes but it was cute

Sweet distractionI woke up with a nasty cold, and needed a distraction。 This did nicely! I do love the Monterran royals, and this was a great(if short) read。 I love HEAs and sweet romance。 The royal aspect just makes it more fun。 Worth the time!!

The connection between the main characters was filled with sweet romance。 I loved the budding love mixed with a royal twist。 Even with being a short story- it felt like the whole story was told。

4 starsThe last short story and, unfortunately, my least favorite。 Not that I didn't like it, but after reading all the short stories and thinking about it this one just didn't give me the same feelings as the others had。 I know all of these short stories have been characters meeting unexpectedly and feeling an immediate connection, but there was something about this story that felt a little too insta-love which I'm not a big fan of。 Sariah Wilson is also the only author of The Improbable Meet C 4 starsThe last short story and, unfortunately, my least favorite。 Not that I didn't like it, but after reading all the short stories and thinking about it this one just didn't give me the same feelings as the others had。 I know all of these short stories have been characters meeting unexpectedly and feeling an immediate connection, but there was something about this story that felt a little too insta-love which I'm not a big fan of。 Sariah Wilson is also the only author of The Improbable Meet Cutes series that I had never any of her books before。 。。。more
